To save you stressing about your outfit - or buying clothes you will only wear once, offer a complimentary client wardrobe for all shoots.
My client wardrobe includes a large range of designer brands including Coven and Co, Free People, Jens Pirate Booty and more. I have a range of sizes and try to be accommodating to as many body shapes and sizes as I can.
My editing is part of my craft, in such I only provide the finished product to my clients.
In addition, most people do not have the correct software to be able to open or view RAW files.
Each of my photography packages includes 20 high resolution edited digital images of your choice selected from your private online gallery.
There is an option to upgrade to a full gallery (approximately 60 images) for an additional $200. When booking the Bump and Baby bundle package you only need to upgrade once.
Sometimes shoot lengths are dictated by your baby. If your baby is content with being photographed we can continue (depending on the days schedule) however most of the time, infants will become fussy before the end of the allotted time.
I use a variety of swaddles (washed in gentle detergent), baskets and other posing props. I also allow clients to access my client wardrobe which includes designer outfits and accessories.
I choose not to offer prints.
I prefer clients to have the digital files that they can print endlessly on their own mediums and sizing depending on their budgets.
I recommend that you contact me as soon as you consider booking a session as I tend to book out months in advance.
NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
Newborns are best photographed during the 5-14 days of their lives, this ensures that they are not only flexible but they are more likely to sleep during the shoot. After your deposit is paid and you are locked into the month that your baby is due, I ask you contact me as soon as your precious baby is born. From there we will schedule a time and date that suits us both - usually within the first 5-14 days, assuming both mum and baby are recovering well.
However, if you can't book within the 5-14 days don't worry - babies are beautiful at any age!
MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT
Maternity shoots are usually conducted between 30-35 weeks, however I am happy to photograph you whenever you feel comfortable and confident with your changing body.
FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT
Honestly, we can do a family photoshoot at any stage! Keep in mind the weather and how your children will respond to the elements - it is important to dress them accordingly.
Have you ever heard of Golden Hour? It is the hour leading up to sunset or the first hour after sunrise. and is the preference for most photographers (including me!)
The light during Golden Hour has a beautiful golden tone (hence the name) due to the angle of the sun through the Ozone layer.
This light is the most flattering and creates the most magical images. The timing of Golden Hour changes depending on the time of year - so session start times will be discussed upon booking.
